Summer Movie Magic, Jay Leno, The Beach Boys, and More On Sale Now!

5/12/2017

Freed from the restrictions of broadcast television, Jay Leno returns to his stand-up roots that once earned him a reputation as the most personable and hardworking man in standup long before Johnny Carson came calling. After over 4,600 episodes as The Tonight Show host, Jay Leno is ready to show a more intimate side of himself. Ditching traditional comedic writing, Leno intertwines his performance with stories of his personal life and career before and after fame. With topics including politics, dating, and even IKEA furniture, his effortless ability to have the crowd laughing confirms that this prodigy isn’t going anywhere. Catch Jay Leno at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Sunday, August 13. Don’t sit too close, he may even call you out!

Buffalo native Marc Scibilia is a singer-songwriter who burst onto the music scene in 2015 after he became the voice for one of Jeep’s largest Super Bowl advertisements. After touring with artists such as Hozier and James Bay, Scibilia has come to his own with an experienced and earthy voice that sets him apart. The rustic realness of his voice allows him to cut through pop produced numbers and deliver an intimate and emotional experience. Scibilia’s latest album, Out of Style, plays on themes related to love, finding direction in life, and staying positive. Make sure to grab your tickets to see Marc Scilibia as he makes a stop at the Revelry Room on Thursday, June 22.

After taking some time away from touring, Social Distortion have hit the road with over 20 national tour dates this year. Inspired by the L.A punk rock scene, Social Distortion was formed in 1978 and was often described by many as the “punk” version of The Rolling Stones. Their earnest and well-seasoned presence on stage combined with their ability to create a moody and sharp atmosphere makes it hard to believe that they ever took a break from touring. With a setlist that includes their biggest hits as well as well loved covers of artists such as Johnny Cash, Social Distortion reminds the audience what punk rock really sounds like. Mark your calendars as Social Distortion hits the stage at The Mill & Mine on Friday, August 18.
